The development going on at Ibeju-Lekki requires a railway.
Roads alone won't handle the traffic by the time the refinery and sea port is completed with the companies that will still come into the free zone.
Right now the traffic is terrifying...

I love this project linking Lekki, but it's not in the place of the legislature to tell the executive what projects to execute based on the plans of the executive. Let's not abuse this lawmaking process of constitutional amendment by encroaching into the turf of the executives .

This is not good for the one Nigeria project. We should link the capital city of Niger republic to Abuja. That will enhance our one Nigeria and help majority of Nigeriaens to have a sense of belonging.

Is it wise to run rail cars carrying highly inflammable petroleum products on the same line as metro line carrying passengers? or are they going to build a dedicated goods line from the refinery to the Lagos NRC line?
