I just find this interview funny bc Eren was always concerned about not sacrificing Historia than anything/anyone else in the story. He always made it clear the routes was her sacrifice, or the world's unfortunate destruction. That was their dynamic.

Hearing the editor saying this type of dynamic was rlly w/ E M all along is hilarious 🤣. They never had that b4 the final 2 chapters. Idc to try to "prove" anything btw, I just wanted to take a moment to laugh at this sht 😭

@hogoily Yup. Did u see this? It's on the same Reddit link. Apparently Editor said Isayama incorporated.popular things to his ending from what he heard from fans. Honestly would've loved to see Isayama make an ending W/O doing that. No wonder the ending doesn't make sense
