If we are to own guns (and I do...) then we Must have responsible gun ownership . My firearms are locked in a security closet, have trigger locks on them and ammunition is stored in separate location in a safe.

We need the doctors to establish protocol for talking to parents about safe storage. Incidents can happen on a parents' watch and when a grandparent or other caretaker is at home!
