@GumbalaS Not possible to get in IT company. Even if he gets, the salary will be lesser than what he actually gets. Better to continue in same institution or try another

@GumbalaS 1. He has to choose the technology first 2. He has to start practice projects every day in github 3. Prepare resume accordingly and do mention the projects which he has practiced 4. If possible open a account and document everything in github what he has practiced

@GumbalaS Main thing is his confidence. If he can master a particular technical skill and build a product then he can find job himself. Ask him to select a skill get trained without leaving his current job.

@GumbalaS If he is doing PhD already, I don’t think he will have any time for the another part-time project in IT. If the age is already 35 plus, it’s not worth trying new in IT field because the freshers will have edge over him. After 40 there is no future in IT field for new comers.

@thanmukil Yes I agree it is not an easy transition. This is exact same thing I felt too. In case some path possible then that will be beneficial for him and similar people in that situation. He is on leave now so atleast for 1-2 months he has some free time.Thanks a lot for your feedback🙏
