@GuardianBooks Fanfic is great! He should post to Archive of Our Own so everybody can enjoy it who wants to give it a go.

@GuardianBooks I've not heard of him, but he should know that there have been several successful authors who've started out writing fanfic. EL James is probably the most famous.

@GuardianBooks I thought Ms. R*ce made it so people couldn't profit off fanfiction. Sorry dude, you gotta post it on Ao3 like me and all the other authors.

@GuardianBooks That's cool. What website is he hosting it on? Fanfiction dot net? Wattpad? I wonder how it stacks up to similar works.

@GuardianBooks Oh so does this mean I can start calling my fanfiction "unauthorised novels" now? It does make the whole thing feel a little bit more special

@GuardianBooks a dude wrote a fanfic and wants to publish it without putting effort into renaming the characters? Fuck him. I hope he loses his internet 4 ever.

@GuardianBooks A.K.A. Narnia fanfiction. Doesn’t sound very original tbh.

@GuardianBooks The Guardian with it's finger on the pulse as usual. This is normally called fan fiction and everyone does it but sure, a middle-aged British geezer bangs one out and it's NeoShakespearean.
