Yes what happened to you was a disgrace Graham. but please spare us this nonsense about Britain degenerating into fascism. The scenes at Anfield and Celtic Park saw the usual suspects exploit their freedom of expression to vent their anti-British hate.
@GrahamSmith_
You can’t say it’s ok for the King to speak out in favour of you on government laws then decry the King being too political on issues you disagree with. You can’t have you’re cake and eat.

@LittleGravitas
Brilliant. I am shamelessly stealing the “If anyone is offended by this then, like the Met, I express my regret” for my bio 😂
@GrahamSmith_
Yes, the first thing Charles should have done was to say to the police “off with your heads” , even if he didn’t know the circumstances, etc. In a democracy it isn’t done like that. And “foothills of fascism” is hysterical. Silly piece by S Lee.
@GrahamSmith_
But he’s not allowed to comment publicly on issues anymore or am I wrong in thinking that? He was vocal as POW on lots of things including the environment & most recently the Gvmt’s controversial Rwanda policy. I’d say progressive people actually have an ally in King Charles

@GloverDent
Charlie knows which side his bread is buttered. The monarchy being the ultimate establishment shill, he has nowhere else to go.
