Was the person interviewing from the
@PGATOUR
headquarters because it was really one sided. The pga is a monopoly without employees but treats them like they are. The courtrooms are going to be exciting.
@GolfMonthly
Decent interview, honest about the 💵 point but I can’t stand the petted lip bit at the end (a few players are doing)… it’s someone else’s decision. No it’s not. It’s yours. You knew suspensions would come if you jump ship. At least own the consequences of it.
@GolfMonthly
hard to argue with, the PGA has held events in conjunction with Chinese government and the NBA has gone even further. Its not up to golfers to be held to higher standards when it suits the woke brigade
@GolfMonthly
I foresee a class action employment lawsuit coming from the players on the PGA Tour from this. I know they are ICs, but the question remains - has the PGA Tour exerted so much control over the players that they should have been characterized as employees?
@GolfMonthly
As someone who has claimed to be a new Christian
@b_dechambeau
, the two don’t add up. Christianity is illegal in Saudi Arabia, Christians are put in jail just for practicing their beliefs. God luck thanking God during his post event interview if he wins on LIV!!
@GolfMonthly
1)I really don’t get all the angst. So to all the folks trying to vilify all these guys, if a competitor to where you work came to you and offered to quadruple your salary (or more), and you’d only have to work half the hours, you’d say no because you don’t like their values,
@GolfMonthly
The man conducting the interview also made business decisions. Im really disappointed at the biased approach of the media. It’s unfortunate we lose some of these players to another tour, but get real, these are individual decisions that benefit them. I assume you all do that
@GolfMonthly
A little confused when asked if he would regret not being able to play on the pga tour again and he responds with “that’s not my decision to make” when ultimately it is. Reasons for joining LIV are valid however. Everyone’s different. Some prefer $ some prefer legacy.
