How we allow so many guns into a 'civil' society is beyond me. Root causes are not just the proliferation of guns, but also mental health in America & a lack of available care. Where will we be safe if we don't DO something?!

I'm UK so firearms to us are things security forces sometimes need to do their jobs. The idea that you buy groceries and a gun is incomprehensible to us and all civilised nations

I’m from Europe. I find it so hard to comprehend selling guns in a supermarket! If there was a mass shooting in my country we would be in mourning for weeks. The idea that there would be multiple mass shootings in a year is unreal.

Not an American, so I have some questions: isn't El Paso in Texas? Isn't there an open-carry policy in Texas? Isn't "more guns" the answer to these problems according to pro-gun people? What went wrong there then?
