it felt like a fever dream tbh in one breath they're laughing at bad lip syncing an actual artist worked on and then losing their minds over a yassified video filter that completely changes the character and performance entirely

- wrong headband shape
- forehead too tall
- no hair tuft
- less intense chin
- less malar fold
- too young + chiseled
- short sideburns
- wrong jawline
- no buccal fat
- wider nose
- too much spray tan
- eyes too bright

these might seem like minor details but if you're making iconic big name characters these things add up & it's important to actually get overall details correct otherwise you end up with some rando guy who is cosplaying

Actually the point was how gamestudios might incorporste something like this into their pipelines to create diversity and improvements in the game, especially procedural generated faces.
Alot of this was made for laughs, if you don´t know that you don´t listen to what they say.

Being a 3d modeler I know this ain’t nowhere near able to do the job, so I’m not even remotely concerned. Especially since everything legit looks lifeless. Aloy looked racially erased, a lot are just too skin perfect. No 3d engine could run anything model-wise. It all looks. Bad.

Yeah i watched that video and was like why are they applauding and cheering some of those look worse, and idk what they were talking about more real, like when the uncharted one came up, I couldn’t even finsh the video even though i was almost done
