Any story, using anon source(s), should require a face-to-face meeting, or it didn't happen, and thereby is just hearsay. Hearsay should never be printed or reported.

"Shouting fire in a crowded theater" is case in 1919, that speech in opposition to the draft was not protected speech under 1st. Case overturned in 1969; limited the scope to that which would incite lawless action.
Activist journalism should be prosecuted. It is insidious.
