Haven't had much time to read so far in 2023 - just as well this by Tom Crewe is a book to savour. Beautifully written historical fiction, but with a timely feel too. And shot through with a real sense of hope about the possibility of progress against the odds. Highly recommended

@Fyrishsunset He "lived as a woman for 2 years" that's 21 months longer than required for a GRC & he was Anne a brunette in 2021 before he settled on Isla a blonde with a penchant for pink in 2022. How much more evidence do we need? He even did a beauty therapy course with teenage girls💅🏻💄
