Badly timed commentary from James Cook at the BBC. If he thinks Royal Deeside doesn’t represent Scotland, I hope catches all of the footage between Aberdeen and Edinburgh, including Dundee. That was Scotland!👌
@Fyrishsunset
Cook seemed to get shut down by the London presenter at one point when he was giving it the "survey says" chat about less than 50% of Scotland supporting a monarchy.
He was then heard a few seconds later on a hot mic apologising but making "I had to" excuses for it

Interesting. Missed that bit. I got the impression someone might have told Geissler to tone down his rhetoric too. Pity if they have to be told.

Banging on about the constitution and suggesting the scenes he was amongst on Royal Deeside shouldn’t be seen as a snapshot of wider Scotland’s attitude towards The Queen and monarchy.
@Fyrishsunset
Having spent my teenage years living in a house overlooking the Dee Valley, I can tell you that Royal Deeside is definitely more Royalist than Dundee, which is where I have lived ever since.
I'd wager the Crathie/Ballater area is as pro-monarch as you'll find in all of Scotland.
@Oz_not_Ozzy
Are you saying Dundee had tens of thousands of holidaymakers lining the route yesterday? Get out of here and take your umpteenth troll account with you.

The
#BBC
reporting was awful, we turned over to
#ITV
and it was so much better. Camera shots were tremendous and less garbage being spouted. Wish we done so earlier.
