The opening for the headkick on Volk was shown in the Max rematch, Islam even landed it in the first fight but didn’t actually land the KO blow like he did in the rematch

Two fundamentally different kicks. Max is coming from orthodox which Volk can roll with. Islam comes from southpaw which rolling with, as we saw, gets you killed.
