And exactly how much tax do these companies pay? In Australia, many of them pay zero tax, which is a burden on the citizens. All because our feckless governments don’t stand up to them.

Really pisses me off that corporations are making BILLIONS in historic profits, taking MASSIVE bonuses for themselves, and people are letting them continue to price gouge the shit out of us.
It's TIME to put the blame for inflation where it belongs, and talk about greedflation.

They estimated in the latest report and budget proposal that billionaires pay an effective average tax rate of 8.2% here in the US. Meanwhile, us workers pay almost triple that at least.

Taxes on corporations are passed on to consumers. They are tax transfer agents. Any cost they incur gets baked into the cake.

Can't believe I'm defending corps here, but, OTOH, how many people get good paying jobs from corporations that provides the country and state with tax revenue? For that reason, I feel corps should pay zero taxes. Then, the prices I pay would be lower and they would hire more.
