Least you could do is tag me. But yes, evil races are boring. Evil societies? Evil cultures? That's interesting. But a generic evil race who are bad just because it's hardwired in their DNA? Dull. At least give them a reason they're seen as evil. Twisted morality? Hunger?

btw, want to point out that any race that is corrupted by an outside force or "evil" because they need to survive? I don't see that as pure evil. That counts the Skaven from W40K. I'd say the Imperial are more evil than the Skaven because they're not doing what they do to survive

@AGramuglia And we can actually go on on that list. It isn't "lazy writing", it takes skills to create and write it. If anything it shows you: 1-don't know anything about the WH (fantasy/30k/40k) universe. 2-have very little grasp on what it takes to write.

@FouIvan @AGramuglia I don't know all of these, but dark Eldar aren't a race, they are a faction/society. They also have a reason for their evil as it keeps slaanesh from devouring their souls.

@FouIvan @AGramuglia Chaos isn't explicitly evil actually, Nurgle is the main one to bring up here in that he actually loves mortals like his own children. There are like blatantly evil races though, like the Tyranids just absolutely hate everything that isn't a Tyranid.

@FouIvan @AGramuglia I mean, that’s what falls under “twisted morality” they consider those things good. Or at least consider morality irrelevant as a concept. Evil is just a label assigned by one group to another that is a threat to their societal values. They’re threatening and repulsive, tho!
