Most of my friends that didn't Japa with us, have made significant career moves in the last 2 years. The massive Japa has opened doors in mid-management that would typically be closed.
I have multiple friends who are now Managers at different consulting firms, a few others atβ¦
Some people hate that some of us with relatively big accounts do not talk about how being in Nigeria is a bane to reaching your career goals in life. To them, Nigeria is a threat to everything good but who are you not to see it? You are either in bed with politicians or onβ¦

If you do the big 4 for 4 years, and spend like a year as a senior associate, you might be able to get Assistant Manager in a Bank. That AM took someone else 12 years to get as a star boy in the bank.

I became a BO after 3 years and some months. I rejected Senior Associate at a Big 4. If I put more effort into getting into a Big 4 and get AM,β¦

Fallacy of hasty generalisation and conclusion...I don't how you come to the assertion of being a DM in seven years, I don't know if you started as an ABO though..but as an entrant level in the banking sector..it's not totally possible...you can mk your research down..
