If France can use paper ballots and count them by hand, then why not the United States? (BTW France did away with βmail-inβ ballots in 1975, because they lead to voter fraud).

Paper ballots here in Italy too, plus you can only vote if you are an Italian citizen, with govt-issued "voter's card" and valid photo ID. Small polling stations (200/250 voters max) which makes counting easier and cheating harder, and party representatives check every ballot.

We struggle with math, validated by the fact that we rank like 113th in the world. Maybe kids should be in school learning reading, writing and arithmetic instead of gender studies. π€

We showed up at the 'voting booth' and counted ballots by hand. For YEARS!
Technology is great. But not for everything.
We have the ability. We just lack the will. If we stay on the current path, we will indeed get the "government we deserve".

π―. I am shocked at how easy fraud is in the US. Counting software is the easiest to manipulate. Allowing the counting to be managed by individual states or counties which can can throw out scrutineers is appalling, unmonitored drop boxes unheard of in Australia.
