Recently, there’s been a stronger push to get Florida high school football coaches better pay. When it compares to a number of other states, Florida falls short and continues to lose quality coaches because of it.

@EvanMPLepak The teacher pay system is the bigger problem. Raising the supplement is nice, but if your 8-4 pay isn’t substantially increased, then it’s still a tough go!!

@EvanMPLepak @PMOWriter This all comes down to state funding of public schools. When you continue to divert funds away from public education you will continue to see a decline in the salary of the coaches.

@EvanMPLepak For years at MadCo I fought for it..always given the runaround. Supt blamed the Union, Union blamed the Supt, school board didn’t want to hear any of it. It was in the CBA that we got a raise if starting teacher pay increased, they didn’t even follow that. It’s sad!
