@naretevduorp Now THAT is a terrific idea. It would cement the concept of what makes one a citizen of these UNITED States and remove any idea of following a wanna-be autocrat attractive.

@naretevduorp Iโ€™ve always believed that who you vote for is your right, same as religion. You are a Navy veteran when you were serving this country where you fighting for everyoneโ€™s freedom or just for the people that believed what you believe in?

@LisaLeFrenchie I took an oath to protect the Constitution from enemies foreign and domestic, when I enlisted. I lived that oath when I was in the Navy, and still do. If someone supports a person who tried to overthrow our government, someone who conspired with others to commit treason -โ€ฆ

@naretevduorp @LisaLeFrenchie Absolutely correct! I didn't serve (my husband did as a Combat Vietnam Veteran), but I took my Oath when I became a US Citizen years after being brought here by my parents as a child (from the UK). THAT Oath is also what one swears to as a Naturalized Citizen, it is so important!

@Elizabe43856774 It's an oath I wish everyone had to take when turning 18. I'm glad you're here! Thank you for the kind words.
