Th Fahrenheit scale is not an arbitrary scale for water freezing. It is not even based on pure water. 0 deg Fahrenheit is the temperature at which brine freezes. Should brine take precedence over pure water, perhaps not.

only thing I will somewhat defend is the month/day/year. Itβs only because itβs how the date is said. People will say may 6th for example, ainβt nobody goin βsixth of mayβ

Oh, it gets even better with metric. 1L of water at 4Β°C is 1kg - so you can approximate 1L = 1kg for just about any liquid you'll carry home from the store.

I use M/D/Y JUST because when I talk about a date.
When writing down a date and I think of it like how I would say it. (i.e. May 13th, 2041. instead of 13th of May, 2041)
