We made a speciality to speciality referral as doctors. We got a 'registrar level' review by a specialist PA concluding patient didn't have a flare up despite clinical findings& symptoms. We contacted consultant on call who reviewed, agreed patient has a flare up & took over care

@veggieequallife Anyone who argues PAs can and should be on reg rotas do not understand the full scope of the registrar role. The number of times I used to get called as an SR to review a patient only to identify another diagnosis and refer and have a proper conversation with another speciality
