@AnaesUnited To be honest it is not whether I want to or not. The fact is I don't think remote supervision is adequate for people providing anaesthetics of any flavour (including regional) without medical degrees. We should aspire to prevent the 1% of bad things that WILL happen.

@AnaesUnited It is not appropriate to say 99% of the time it would be fine... What if it was your family/friend who was the 1%

@EduMed_UK @AnaesUnited Exactly the college demands 7 years minimum training, rotate around a dozen departments and specialties, pass ludicrous exams - to turn small risk into a minimal risk from anaesthesic. So why is it suddenly okay for a riskier less qualified anaesthesic?
