If you're an art student, the best thing you can do is focus on learning your fundamentals and trying to find your artistic voice. Artists are usually hired based on their artistic abilities and knowledge not because they are good at using a software, that's always been the case.
Granted there are exceptions and specializations, the comment above is more of a general statement. There are many positions that exist specifically for skill related to software, those are not usually the art creating roles and are usually project specific.

There are a lot of resources - art books, online tutorials. It's mostly about just sitting down and practicing the basics. An example would be studying skulls one night to get better at understanding and drawing/painting/sculpting it.

I recently have gone back to fundamentals type stuff. Feel like I got too ahead of myself. Back to basics now. Just ordered an Anatomy book actually. 👍☕
