Question to X Communities admins and mods: What are your strategies for growing your communities? Let us know if you have ideas for features to help your communities thrive more.

Now that communities are accessible when not logged in, it would be very helpful if there was a *Community Widget* for embedding on an external website 🙏

That would be a great way to gain greater exposure, promote and grow a community.

Allowing clips or “shorts” in communities would be great. Like a library of albums, recently uploaded etc. could have it separate shorts from longer form videos. Could also find live streams from those within the community that are live streaming. Just a few ideas. 💡

Maybe admins/mods could have a badge on their profile similar to the affiliate badges to promote their chosen community.
The search engine could have a tab saying communities.

Thank you for the opportunity to make a suggestion.
・Private, fee-based community.
・Space for limited participants.
・A community limited to holders of a specific NFT.
・A repost function for community posts.
・Join button on community post
on top of the community post.…
@DongWookChung2
I see this post but can't repost it. I have to quote it.
Perhaps community posts that are also shared with the followers can be reposted by them too.
@DongWookChung2
Write DM to people who have similar interests to re-post a post to the community so more people find it. 😅 otherwise people will probably find it easier if they have categories to browse. Right now it’s hard to find communities. 😬
I think an effective method to drive more traffic to communities would be by introducing a Suggested ‘Communities' section in the search feature. Similar to how it suggests 'People,' this could be a valuable way to promote community engagement and cohesion!
@DongWookChung2
It would be great to have a “Similar Communities” pop-up when you first subscribe to a Community.
Like how Instagram displays “Similar Accounts” when you follow someone new.

Current growth strategy: onboarding people into our digital collectible (NFT) community and connecting them to interest groups.
How can we thrive more? Provide more organizational features such as:
- In-chat community spaces
- File archiving
- Pinned messages
- Mod permissions
