It wasn’t, Cucurella followed his man should he have just let his marker run off. The issue laid with the fact that we were not pressing and kroos was not being put under no pressure when he had the ball. Aka Lampard a fault

Nope. Midfield was passive allowing Rodrigo to move in, cucu pressed making him pass back which then initiated the pass. Chiwell is meant to cover for cucu in that instant but wasn't narrow enough. Tbf the people at fault is the midfield for not pressing but that's on lampard
