#Destiny2
has been hitting huge new player-count numbers in Crucible and Iron Banner since
@Bungie
turned off skill-based matchmaking last season.
Have you enjoyed the change so far?

Nope. Hit IB with my clan today hopefull that the CBMM changes wouldnโt result in a overly experience. 6 matches, all resulted in quick mercy ends against us. Three games back to back against same clan group that stomped us despite โbreaking up the teamsโ. Bad experience.

- the biggest difference Iโve seen is my ability to plow through the bounties. Much faster. Was able to clear all three in 2 nights instead of 3. Matches are faster, more balanced(?) and more fun. GG Bungie team.

There may be room for some adjustment bc Iโm sure the rate of mercy rules are up significantly. But overall I think this proves that SBMM significantly hurts players experiences and hurts player retention long term.

I love CBMM but this Is very misleading. Itโs the first iron banner of the new season and most players are still on the power grind. Iron banner is the best place to get pinnacles for most players so naturally the player base is going to spike

Gonna hit that with a no on my end <3. Glad for the players who enjoy Crucible, it's just become a hated experience for those who don't.

Iโm not surprised. If you were somewhat decent at destiny then quickplay since sbmm was made a thing was literally like playing 6v6 comp. since itโs been made cbmm Iโve never had so much fun ๐

I'm enjoying it but it's rough. Fun coming up against clans of unbrokens nearly every game. I find this a lot sweater than Sbmm

For it t work u need a solo queue then maybe it will be better right now either mercy a team or your team gets smashed no balance
