It was just a few days and honestly the care was incredible, both for Henry and for us. It was an overwhelmingly positive experience but I can’t imagine what 42 days must have been like! And I can’t imagine getting this bill without adequate insurance.

Just got my son’s hospital and NICU bill. It cost him $35,341.22 to be born! Thankfully we have good insurance — we only owe $1,059.90.

Sorry you had to experience NICU. My twins NICU bill for 42 days was $528k. Thankfully, our actual cost was $800 thanks to top-notch health insurance. I feel for anyone w/o a basic right (or should be) as healthcare.
