Me Da worked for his brother up on Parnell St. and Nedโs was called the Widow Scanlons ๐Both gone now,we got our 2st Colour from there .. sold Tellies as well ๐๐..it never worked ..the Remote Control was missing ๐คฆโโ๏ธ

Played darts a few times in the 90s against Scanlon's Dart Team, Back then lots of Dublin Bars had dart boards & teams, We had teams in Galligans, Noctor's & Campions Bar, Great memories.

A pint shop , might have been early houses opening at 7a.m, there were quite a number of pubs like this on this street , many now like neds now gone , a pint of plane is your only man ,

One of my favourite pubs when I moved to Dublin in the early 90โs and only a few yards away from another great live music bar, Barnstormers, which also made way for an ugly development.

I work in the building beside it. Was always great for a pint. Now a hotel and they missed a trick by not calling the bar in it, Nedโs ๐๐ป
