Jason Maas proves the doubters wrong. I felt during the '19 season in Edm, being a head coach started to click for him. He was thrust into the role and had to learn some lessons. He changed his demeanour on the sidelines without giving up his identity. The ultimate leader. #CFL

@Dave_CHED His firing started the demise of the EE program. The day he was fired I said he’d win a Grey Cup before the EE. He’s a top end offensive mind, he’s prepared and players love him. Super proud of him.

@Dave_CHED Jason Maas really changed in how he coaches. Some coaches never change and just say well that is how I am. That was the difference of his team. He was calm cool and collective and his team was the same. Athletes follow the coach

@Dave_CHED In 17 after losing his GM…he won 12 went into Winnipeg and beat them and was in it to win it vs Calgary until last drive. He had 1 losing season in EE. TSN was after him because of the live mic. Everyone’s demeanor changes as they get older. EE fumbled 1st!

@Dave_CHED Melt down again, second year in a row no party at portage/main! Do we now have a team that can’t win the big one as obviously reg season stats don’t mean anything !!

@Dave_CHED So happy to see Maas win his cup as a coach. The guy deserves it. He’s one of the hardest working guys out there. Nothing but love and respect!

@Dave_CHED Great point made here. The change in demeanour was readily evident too in Regina as the OC.
