have hired Wally Buono to consult on the GM hire, team hopes to have a new GM in place by the end of the year. Talent acquisition firm Gallagher has been hired by the club in the search for a new president and CEO. Target date for to fill the position is end of Jan.

Last year, prior to the name change I contacted Chris Presson and told him I had enough Indigenous businesses that would be willing to support the team and shelter it from critics about the Eskimo name. He initially wanted to meet but ultimately blew me off. Good riddance.

It had to happen. That’s a lot of money the team is having to swallow but I’m sure the season ticket renewal numbers have spoken. We’ve had lots of crappy teams before - this was different.

Sad to see anybody lose their jobs, but obviously the EE couldn't continue with this mgmt team given how they alienated the fan base this past yr. They are good football people who sadly made way too many mistakes.

Dave, I think its time to refocus the marketing back on the fan experience. Time to make it fun to go to Commonwealth again. A competitive team will help, as long as they show fight. I don't think that's too much to ask as a fan.

When they only drew around 30k for the home opener with the new rebrand, reunion, etc I knew they were going to be in trouble at the box office this year. I don't think they realized the extent of the effect the change was going to have on the long term fan base.
