The Green Zone:
Many people are suggesting that the
@CFL
should become a farm system for the
#NFL
& the idea is taking off on social media. Do you think the
#CFL
should become a feeder league for NFL?

I'm 100 percent open to a partnership like we've seen in the past. The moment you say the NFL is in charge of the CFL it knocks the league down a peg or two. Minimal number of players have signed contracts over the last few years. I wouldn't call the CFL a feeder league.
@Dave_CHED
The CFL is already an unofficial farm league. Ask every player is they would rather play in the NFL and they will all say yes. Same way if you asked and AHL player would rather play in the NHL. Just do it right and get something out of it.
@RShort11
It’s interesting because the NFL doesn’t see the CFL as their “feeder” system or a “minor league” system. Yeah players who come up have the NFL dream, so few actually make it and fall in love with the CFL game. Because the CFL game is of high quality.
@Dave_CHED
Nope, you start falling down a slippery slope with it. What next? The CFL rebrands to NFL Canada? NFL rules? Canadians get pushed out of their own league?
@ShaneSymyrozum
Shane. I'm a fan of both the NFL and the CFL game. Both have their great qualities. The CFL is a much faster, wide-open game. The NFL athlete has a slight edge. Brock Sunderland used to work in the NFL, like many other people. Same for the NFL. Quite frankly you're embarrasing.
