How about the teacher is my elder, I will give respect until something really strange/bad happens, at which time I will get my parents involved to speak to the school. The problem as I see it, the parents. Two parent households are no longer.

@surfmoma @Papa_Pixels @eclipsethis2003 If a kid has a phone out, and won't put it away, a teacher can confiscate it for the duration of the class. He doesn't have to take all the kids' phones. What is so bad about taking away a phone for 40 minutes? I can't believe there's anything but sympathy for the teacher.
