My training hospital was orthopedic. We did pretty much everything including pediatrics.
4D was ortho ward. Traction for some injuries. Hip pinings were common. Total hips also.
We cared. Now, they send women home less than 24 hours post breast reduction without in home visits

I’ve heard this before. Maybe that’s why doctors and nurses are admired. They are doing the first job of making sure that we all are helped to survive.
