I’m the only person who liked the old Cleveland Museum of Art better than the new. It used to be dark, labyrinthine, confusing. You could easily imagine you were somehow wandering through the dusty back rooms of history itself.

I honestly don't remember what it used to look like. Seems it was renovated in 2008-2009, according to the website.

Agreed. It’s beautiful throughout. And the wall on the left is freaky good at sound dampening. For such an enormous open space, it’s not very echoey.

It's super rad! I dont're remember how it used to look either. I might have to google old images to jog my memory lol I agree - I think it's crazy beautiful!

It's such a beautiful space! Spend a lot of time there. The transformation is incredible (altho a part of me misses the *before* museum. Always had my lunch in the gorgeous gardens that used to be there!😍)
