Incredible “if you don’t respond to the national alarm on your phone you won’t be able to use the phone”! This is a fact, 1984, nazism, communism call it what you will but it’s not freedom nor democratic! It’s your fcuking phone, despotism at its best!

This was confirmed today on msm and is in the written script provided by Government that you wont be able to use your phone unless you acknowledge the alarm. So 77th please catch up!

Everyone saying "switch alerts off" ...
I'd say, that will have the same effect as "not responding" and therefore your phone will be deactivated... sad but true imo.

All you’ve got to do is press ok on the screen 🙄 I can’t use my phone whilst my wake up alarm is going off until I cancel it. I’m not up in arms about it 🤦♂️ grow up.

True. A warning system of an emergency is fine, but the threat you can't use your phone unless you acknowledge the government has spoke to you, is something else entirely.

iPhone uses. Setting,notifications,bottom on list turn off Extream and Severe Alerts.

“Warnings are sent in a very targeted way….. In defined areas…with instructions on how to respond”. As stated by the BBC on their news website. Although “many people may not receive a response for months or years”. How dystopian /Orwellian can you get?
