I shipped Clive & Jill since the first trailer the balcony scene was a dead giveaway that Clive and Jill are lovers their rendezvous under the moon.

Jill prayed for Clive’s safety, and return to Metia a wishing star. And Metia answered her prayer and brought Clive to her. I think in part 2 or the sequel Goddess Greagor might be involved in returning Clive back? They talk a lot about her in the game.

Having moments like this for both main female leads are why it is such a shitshow for fans in FF7, there's romantic stuff for both Aerith and Tifa and fans are never going to stop arguing at this rate. 16 at least kept it simple here, thankfully.

I wholeheartedly agree, never been a fan of FF7. Reason number one there’s a crackship war going on, reason number two toxic fan base. FF7 as a series contradicted itself with spin offs they made. Aerith belongs to Zack, Tifa for Cloud end of story.

I’m still playing 16 funny enough you said their rendezvous under the moon, because Cloud & Aerith have a whole song called midnight rendezvous that emphasizes their romantic date. ☺️

Yeah but there was no moon in that cutscene in FF7 remake. So what are you saying FF16 rips off FF7? I’m sick and tired of FF7 fanboys and nerds claiming that FF16 success is based on FF7 when in reality it’s not.

Tbf at the beginning I thought Jill and Joshua would end up together because they seemed closer in size and age 🤔 but the longer I played, the more I shipped Jill and clive. When they almost kissed I squealed like a girl 🤣🤣🤣
