Depositions are always behind closed doors. It’s called discovery. They can be recorded & played for the public but in 47 yrs of taking high profile depositions I’ve never seen one be open to the public.

It's not a legal deposition. It's a subpoena to appear before congress with no crime even identified!

Obvious you have never been involved in a real police, grand jury or felony criminal investigation.
All initial interviews & statements are taken in closed room or chambers with swearing in & or Mirada Rights knowledge.

Because that's always been the standard. Some questions can't be asked publicly, legally.
What does it matter? The standard has always been a closed door, and then the public hearing. Why is Hunter not held to that same standard?
