@ChannelNewsAsia Having been a co-habitant nation for so long..Singapore probably knows better than to get ourselves tangled in these kinds of conflicts..we are not pro-any side..we just don't want to get involved in deep-rooted issues nowhere near our shores, and have it become our problem.

@ChannelNewsAsia US, EU and G7 also support 2 states solution but do not recognise Palestine as sovereign state, whilst helping Israel ignore 4 UN security council rulings since 1967. Spore should take a principled position to recognise Palestine state to avoid also seen as empty words as well.

@ChannelNewsAsia Singapore position is that supports a 2 state solution. Israel and Palestine in Gaza and West Bank. If that is the case , why doesn't Singapore recognise Palestine as a sovereign state ? Surely this is a prerequisite for a 2 state solution. Is this the reason for the sentiments?
