@dedm0zaj @godotengine That looks really good! I'd probably need to tweak some values, but seems like Jolt works better out-of-the-box for my case, so I'll stick with that for now

@StudioMylo @godotengine You also had physics problems? It seems like Jolt is a bit more stable and easier to get the right kind of behavior for me. As it's a drop-in replacement it's no big deal though in my opinion

@CentiGames @godotengine Curious how the Jolt side will look if the ball was attached to a rope with a series of joints instead of a straight rod.

@CentiGames @godotengine I was making physics props for my hitscan guns using Godot Physics and it just caused them to spin at like 9,000 RPM and fly off into the distance. With Jolt they acted normally. No idea why GP acts so wonky

@CentiGames @godotengine Godot's joints are just wild. It has the same problem in 2d too. If you ever do 2D, the Box2D addon is the way to go

@BinarySunrise_ @godotengine They are a bit wonky, yes. Sometimes the ball glitched away. Though to be fair Jolt joints also are not perfect, when I had an angular Limit enabled, the ball would not return to it's original position but somewhere to the side, Box2D seems great!

@CentiGames @godotengine Would suggest using the inferior physics, cause no game ever went viral from a clip where physics behaved correctly 🫑

@CentiGames @godotengine are all the joint types implemented yet in Jolt? was gonna use it for bone physics, but that wasn't ready yet :[

@gonderage @godotengine As fair as I can tell all 3D joints are implemented for Jolt as well? What joint do you need? I'm using an adjusted Generic6DOFJoint here
