In my first year as a head coach, an opposing coach threw a kid for all 7 + 2 extra innings, totaling up over 150 pitches in a meaningless summer baseball game (not that it woulda been okay in ANY game, but still).
The me of today would have put a stop to it.

Is that 100 on Tuesday in 3 inn and 45 on Thursday because he is my go to guy? We needed the game!!!

Saw a 9u kid give up 7 runs in the first and the coach left him in the whole inning. “Only” 35 pitches but hey.......gotta save arms for Sunday 🤦🏼♂️
