When I had just moved to Ibadan for NYSC, suddenly in the midnight I had the worst stomach pain ever, I was moaning in so much pain.
My neighbors knocked on my door like an hour later, drove me to the emergency unit by 2am and we found out that my appendix was about to burst.
I’m a firm believer in NOT getting to know your neighbors. What, are we supposed to have some kind of a connection because we live closer to each other? Nah I don’t eff with people like that homie. GTFO with your nasty ass apple pie, Gertrude.

What would I have done without my neighbors? My family were in Lagos and I could barely move.
We all became even closer after that. Being friendly with your neighbours is very important.

I dunno, ig it goes both ways. We had a symbiotic relationship with a neighbor… the husband helped when our car had a fault and my grandma stayed with his wife when she was in labor. The other neighbor was the definition of green snake in the grass

There is no way yiu shudnt be close with your neighbors...especially if you have kids.
Nah, you must have a relationship with them even if they are not good people.
Just know how to manage them cos one day, you will need them

I just feel, as humans, being friendly or not, you should be willing to help your neighbor in times of danger. You people do not even have to be friends or even talk . If your neighbor is in danger, it is only humane that you provide help
