Just in: Event epicentre approx 20km NNE of Swansea, with 4.4 magnitude at a depth of 7.4km. Events of this magnitude only happen in the UK every 2-3 years.

@BritGeoSurvey On the USGS site users can score the severity of the quake - at one point it was scoring higher than the 7.2 in Mexico! Still only one point below. A similar earthquake in Japan or Taiwan doesn't even get a rating it's so common #earthquake
