At the next Sports Emmys, I sincerely hope Jim Courier gets strong consideration for Outstanding Live Event Analyst. Working w/him, I know how in-depth his preparation is, but watching him each night in Australia underscored how well he serves the viewer. None better, IMO.
@BrettHaber
Well said. I echo that 100%, unlike
@McEnroeClassics
who usually is pursuing a personal agenda. I loved it when
@rogerfederer
asked him if he was asked to say nice things about him in a post match interview. Thank you Roger for calling him out.
@BrettHaber
Spot on Habs! JC in the most insightful and thoughtful of all the tennis analysts!! I actually turn the volume UP when JC is commentating so I don’t miss his great nuggets!!!
@BrettHaber
Paul Annocone is in the same league, both are tennis gurus. And I'll take
@RobKoenigTennis
for play by play, any day...captures the excitement of live competition. JC, PA, and RK would be my dream team in the booth.
@BrettHaber
Twenty years since he played the last Slam of his career in Melbourne, I always look forward to his post-retirement work at the Aussie Open.
@BrettHaber
I'm from Aus & we've had the pleasure of Jim Courier's expert commentary for yrs (both ch7 & ch9) We also have a lot of other great commentators 4 tennis (all ex-players) I have watched the US Open for many years & u have a few good commentators but a lot of them have no💡about🎾
@BrettHaber
JC and petchy are the dream team at the other majors for ITV4/Prime. I used to hate petch as he was so biased towards Murray but he has become an incredible analyst and commentator.
@BrettHaber
Agreed. His ability and timing in the on court interviews connects the players and fans like few others. Definitely top 5 in the world of sports.
