We can all see how the gov is using "stop the boats" as a last ditch attempt to win people over and stay in power.
@GaryLineker
comparing this to 1930's Germany is a fair comparison.
Labour: “The BBC’s cowardly decision to take Gary Lineker off air is an assault on free speech in the face of political pressure. Tory politicians lobbying to get people sacked for disagreeing with Government policies should be laughed at, not pandered to. BBC should rethink.”

Absolutely no comparison with the Nazis of 1930s; that's why he should be disciplined. Also, newly appointed DG of BBC said that impartiality of the BBC would be high on his agenda. So, either he hasn't got that message through to all employees, or some are choosing to ignore it.

Let Gary open to doors to his mansion to them - and allow in an UNLIMITED number, WITHOUT doing any background checks on any of them and I might agree he’s got a point…

Most of their supporters can only handle 3 word slogans.
"Take back control"
"Brexit means Brexit"
"Get Brexit done"
"Stop the boats"
They don't do details.

Hes not compared stopping the boats to what Hitler did. He's comparing the language used in 30's Germany to stir up tension and animosity by the gov.

They wouldn’t need to win people over and stay in power if this were “1930’s Germany” because there would be no elections. That’s quite a difference. Bit like the EU today, that is also based on a Nazi construct.
