The attacks on Keir Starmer are beyond tiresome and hypocritical! Has he been perfect? Absolutely not, but he's done a fairly decent job in dealing with some of the worst legacies of the previous leadership and he should be allowed to finish the job... 1/3

The Tories have undoubtedly had a good few weeks - a successful vaccine rollout, announcing the route out of lockdown - they were always going to have a rally effect... 2/3

Corbyn was allowed to lose a general election and continue - Starmer should at least be afforded the right to fight one. #Labour #KeirStarmer

@BenCooper86 Agree he needs to be given the chance to fight an election. But he needs to step it up. Hes been very weak so far and quite rightly he's being smashed in the polls

@DevonShearer9 See I think that's unfair, he closed a 20 point gap - I mean that's not insignificant.

@AndrewMarkSP I agree, I'll accept valid criticism but when the likes of AB and OJ make up bullshit they should be called out.

@BenCooper86 The criticism is grossly unfair when you consider the mess he inherited, EHRC report. Leaked report, an incumbent that not only refuses to step down but actively rallies his supporters against him. This against the backdrop of the difficulty of campaigning during a lockdown
