Yes, this is wishful thinking, but we are hoping the frequent rains and mild temperatures we are seeing will create a decent wildflower year in the Mojave Desert.

The odds of a decent wildflower bloom still look promising!
Will the storms be as frequent and as intense as those seen in January?
It's too early to pin that down.
But the winds of change are blowing and the upcoming week of clear skies likely does have an end date.
GEFS brings precipitation back into the picture right around Feb 1.
