& staff have done this season. From game preparation, to in game adjustments, ATO calls, maximizing match ups, getting player buy in & huge recruiting commitments make him one of the best on any level!
@RazorbackMBB
Nick Jr & I started training in 7 th grade.I took him to school.Nick Sr was my son 1st b ball coach @ age 6! It makes me sick/ashamed 2 even say I train in the same state where adults would do this to a kid that has worked so hard.

NEW: Sen. Missy Irvin is calling the AAA to the hot seat this Thursday… After Nick Smith Jr. is deemed ineligible to play at NLRHS. “It is affecting his senior year, I realize that he is a more high-profile type, but he’s still a kid,” she stated today.

Grinding everyday to be ready for

@ArkansasHawks
@ARHoopScoop
@CP3
Pause moments/change of speed moves are reserved for elite guards. Simulated pick ups can fake out or freeze even the best of defenders.
@_justicehill
brings both hands mid line to enhance fake. The turn dribble keeps him loaded down to explode by.
@ARHoopScoop
@RazorbackMBB
Shifty!! Pace, Level Changes, delay's,
hesi & floats into trigger step Hesi live ball move.
@Laygogetit2
is. Franchise PG for some NBA team very soon. Besides being unstoppable in high & middle P&R situations his ability to defend at a ridiculously high level sets him apart.
RECRUITING UPDATE: 2021 Cam Hunter
@camren_hunter
(6-2 CG, Bryant, Joe Johnson Hawks) has been contacted by coaches from Arkansas ... Cam had a strong spring & summer on the competitive Adidas Gauntlet ...
A little triple threat work with my guy

Weapons, weapons and more weapons. Getting SEC ready. Circle Jab, load step, ball shimmy!!
@RazorbackMBB
@CoachJFry
Congrats ballers below! I had every kid below in games & skills setting CP3 RSC.
@JNettfor3
hit 5 triples in one game then destroyed my team right after.

Might have been the top performer in break out sessions on day 1! Thanks
@corynichols95
4 the prep work.

Some JJ Hawks & 1 ARS getting skill work & game enhancement work. Mr Skill himself Nick Smith and Ty Frederick looking very shifty in warm up separation progressions. Sniper

My boy

is killing it! His ability to change speeds & directions is incredible & fun to watch. Elite guards have the ability to float the basketball when dribbling. Also they can gain lift with their feet. It’s highly effective and deadly in game.
@ARHoopScoop
15U Joe Johnson Hawks beat 15U Game Elite, 50-36, on Sunday to finish the wknd 3-1 at Adidas Gauntlet in Dallas ... '22 G Isaiah Releford

Enjoyed some move development and separation progressions with these two former Razorback greats. They looked fantastic. Smooth drag back, float dribble and hip swivel. Fun to watch.

continuous pick ups/stationary pick ups.Braden shows off 1 of the hardest skills to acquire the ability to operate fast while loaded down low! Lift with both feet while not locking knees upright create max explosion & easy change of direction.
@ARHoopScoop
Congrats
@ntsmith1402
So many more coming you way. What your doing as a freshman is amazing. Nick works extremely hard with laser focus. But his game transfer from practice is off the charts! Never satisfied!

goal.
@HCH_03
is a sniper!Quick separation moves & specific live ball moves is our goal. 3rd stage “block training”session. Improvement is insane. 4 quick separation moves combined into 1 rep =faster muscle memory building.
@SteveRHarrison3
Snipers paradise in the corner. Most efficient shot in basketball. Side ball screen action with a floppy screen to the corner. Separation moves lead to cross step spins off a load step!

making sure it goes off correct.

huddles up w/the Hawks' 16s and 15s on Saturday in the 501 ... the spring/summer grassroots grind begins as these ballers prepare for the 2019 Adidas Gauntlet!
@onekrob2
long strides are effective & needed for separation. In live ball situations long steps can also take us to space we don’t want. Attacking D outside hip with choppy steps gives options & explosion. Small steps=explosion.
@JHarden13
is best in the world at shift.

@Madisonpeaster1
(6-2 PG, 16U Joe Johnson Hawks) drives left & finishes lefty during first-half action Friday against 16U Team Loaded VA at Adidas Gauntlet session in DFW ... the Hawks lead 31-16 ...
@ntsmith1402
makes the hardest combinations look routine. Retreat dribble right and left with a push crossover. Next give me that cross first hesi and finish with a floater!!
@ARHoopScoop
@MR_3X
Great great story. Got to love this
@BeadSidney
if your a baller I promise other ballers are in your immediate family. Everyone get ready
@BryantHS_Bask
vs
@LRCentralHoops
is not a game, it's a war with the potential to be one of the greatest games ever played in this state!
The last time the
@BryantHS_Bask
went to State Championship was with Camren Hunter & KK Robinson and now their little brothers
@Krob_one4
and
@camarionbead23
have a chance to win state
@RMaxJr10
has major skill & size. Rare combo. We grinding in the gym early. RJ’s width on live dribble moves is picture perfect. His ability to same foot stop step back while keeping perfect balance for knock down is crazy.Big things coming for this one.

The results are a GAME CHANGER!
@SWSportsAR
In the lab w/ Coach Shields. Lift footwork/Step Back Variations. Lifts are effective in game for change of speed, delayed pick up reads, change of direction. Same foot, shuffle, opposite foot.
@HCH_03
@ARHoopScoop
@minerbasketball
@MuleriderHoops
Certain players have energy that is contiguous.
@N0limitA
is that player. Speed change is my favorite skill. It can be taught. But knowing how and when to use it is more instinctive & much harder to acquire.He has that as well.
@billrealdeal16
@MR_3X
@ARHoopScoop
@ArkansasHawks
Inverted stops(ball/opposite foot) gives players ultra aggressive change of direction.Huge key is his anchored foot. KK does it like a pro.The added benefit is that is back serves as a seal against D! Buying he time to see & read defense.
@onekrob2
has tons of weapons he can use.
D Macon & I working 1 of our 27 ball screen reads. NBA schemes are creative. Ice/blue, hedges, switches, blitz, zone up or pushes. We ready. We top pop technique to attack hedger & keep vision. He works right back into D players line to create a bump off & pull up situation.
The man working. Ball pick ups and foot replacement work give Nick max efficiency and speed from dribble to release. Throw in a trigger step for change of speed with added ball protection. Hard to guard!!
