@fahad_maral A Historian is led by evidence not simply by an argument. Im not a Punjabi and so I have no vested interest here. But I also do want to see actual history being discussed, than simply imaginations.

@BangashYK historically, you may be correct, but by that criteria, do you call Allama Iqbal as Indian poet? or calling him Pakistan's poet would be wrong?

@BangashYK Jhang is not a saraika vesaib...you do nt even know the jhangvi/jangli punjabi is different from saraiki..

@BangashYK Seraiki is the language of the kingdom / province / city-state of independent Multan that existed in glory through history until its sack by Ranjeet in 1818. There is nothing ahistorical abt it. Yes, it did lose out on identity formation under the Raj, unlike Punjabi.
