The UK's 120-180 existing warheads are more than enough, particularly with the fallback of the under US-NATO nuclear umbrella. Building more is just throwing away money for nothing.

Presumably,much as we need 10000 more regular troops, but they aren’t coming, and we need around a million jobs, but no sign of them, and we need about 35 billion to pay back the spending, etc. These are plans, they may not eventuate.

£31 billion which will be spent over great many decades and is well within the budget. how about using a 3rd of it and giving the NHS nurses and personnel a pay rise
