@VSTS @0xdabbad00 The blog post says that the --recursive option is required, but the animation in your post doesn't use it. Which is it?

@VSTS Hopefully @Atlassian will update embedded git version in @sourcetree too, cause most of users just use that one instead of system

@VSTS Here are the commands to upgrade Git client brew upgrade git choco upgrade git sudo apt update && sudo apt upgrade git But in #WSL I was out of luck, still 2.17.0, try again later

@mgasparel Glad you asked, Mike. Visual Studio 2017 is being patched now and a hotfix will be available soon. Also, TFS 2018 Update 3 will block these repositories. Please stay tuned to the blog post for futures updates.
